Kermesse is coming soon!
The biggest event of the year is coming soon! The kids are preparing
their performances and the Olympic Committee is preparing the fun,
games and food!
Please look for our pre-sale event next week on Olympic VIP passes,
Food tickets and Raffle tickets! Also, the kids are all preparing
art projects that will be auctioned at the Kermesse! You don’t want
to miss out on bidding for these amazing keepsakes your children have
worked hard on! Details will be sent soon about the pre-sale and the
auction!

When: Sunday, June 13th from 11:30 am to 4:00 pm
Where: Behind the school (enter via the library side)

Dear Parents,
Memorial week end is around the corner along with the official start of the BBQ season. Before you fire your grill, stock up on your favorite Fabrique Delices sausages and merguez! Order now and your products will be available for you to pick-up, at school, on May 26th !
How to order ?
- Pick-up an order form on the PTA board in the school hallway today or download the order form and the waiver from the PTA’s
- Submit your order by Thursday, May 20th, in the envelope on the PTA board at school, along with your check payable to FASSV-PTA and the signed waiver.
- Pick up your ordered items on Wednesday, May 26th, at 3:30 pm in the school’s parking lot.
Reminder: Every purchase made goes towards providing activities for our children: 15% of the sale proceeds goes directly to the PTA.

Dear Parents,
It’s now time for me to head back to Hollywood to cast some more shows,
and attend a few Premieres. “Le Festival de Cannes” is coming soon and I have to get ready...
Before I take off, I would like to express my warmest thank to all the children, parents and teachers who performed on stage at the Talent Show.
It was a memorable evening filled with a wide variety of amazing talent from our school, and it seemed that everyone had a great time.

Thank you to the teachers, Solange, Josie and Catherine for their great performance on stage,
Thank you to Anne-Lorraine, from Harmony Dance, for performing on stage.

It was a real joy to see how exited and happy the children and parent were.I really enjoyed my stay at FASSV.

THE PTA STUDIO CASTING CALL IS NOW OFFICIALLY OPEN!
THE PTA STUDIO is casting the TALENT SHOW, a one-night performance.
Runs Saturday, May 8th at 6:00pm at Ventana School, Los Altos
Audition will be held in the Hallway (see the PTA board for the list) starting this week.
Rehearsal: Time TBD according to your acting role
Seeking highly motivated male & female.
All talent welcome, who want to come and get discovered!

Please, take a few minutes to submit for a chance to act in one or more of the open slot,
and/or bringing something for the bake sale. Be aware that spots are very limited, so don’t wait until the last minute
and be the first to submit otherwise you might be left out!!! The shooting will be organized into shifts of 30 minutes ONLY.
It’ll be over before you know it but be careful…
you will be having so much fun, you won’t want to leave your shift!

and buy your dinner at our expanded “bake sale/dinner buffet”. Then…enjoy your delicious collation at your table, while watching your children, wife, husband, teachers, etc… on stage.

Tickets are $25 per adult and FREE for children.
Don’t forget that the DEADLINE TO REGISTER for the Talent Show is also Tuesday April 27th

Dear Parents,
Back by popular demand, the FASSV school t-shirts are now available for re-order! Please note that the t-shirt will continue to be mandatory in the upcoming year for field trips and now is a good time to plan ahead for our growing children. This will be the last opportunity to order the t-shirts at this price.
The t-shirts are not considered fundraising items and, in response to your survey, the FASSV School Spirit Team is also very pleased to offer the following optional FASSV gear for fundraising purposes:
- FASSV Caps
The caps will be embroidered with FASSV on the front and the cute little ‘bonhomme’ running across the back. These baseball-style caps will be in an elegant navy blue with white embroidery. They are adjustable in the back and come in two sizes. Please check the size against the caps you have at home: the kids’ size will only fit the younger children and most of the older children will require the adult version.
- FASSV hooded sweatshirts
The sweatshirts have a front zipper, pockets and long sleeves. They will also be in an elegant navy blue with white FASSV letters on the front top logo section and the cute ‘bonhomme’ running up the right sleeve. Sizing is comparable to the t-shirts.
Please consider ordering before April 30th so that we can receive the goods before the end of May.
